When users are setting up MFA or re-setting up MFA for OCHIN there is a Microsoft issue causing this error: "There was a problem processing your request; Support Information; Correlation ID: "



Updated Workaround
The following workaround has been successful:

  1. Immediately after getting the Microsoft Sign-In error, close your browser and open https://ella.ochin.org/ip/
  2. Then have user log into ELLA using updated password (password set right before error)
  3. Once logged in, they will be prompted to enroll in MFA and finish the process.


In the Incognito/Private Browser bring up the OCHIN Portal: https://portal.ochin.info/


Select the Ella Icon 

Select OCHIN MFA via Microsoft 

Enter your OCHIN user id: (id)@community-health.org

Enter your OCHIN Microsoft Password


This should bring you to this screen "More information required"
