If you forgot your password or need to reset your password for ELLA/REMOTE OCHIN/EPIC.
(REPORT WRITERS: BUSINESS OBJECTS AND FINACIAL CUBES. MUST FOLLOW PROCESS IN EPIC: Business Objects "Account Information not recognized" error)
USE CASE: A user may want to reset their password if forgotten or if required to change per security protocol. This is done via the self-service password reset functionality.
NOTE: Password may only be reset after MFA has been configured--attempting to reset it before initial configuration will result in error.
RIGHT CLICK THE LINK AND OPEN AN A PRIVATE/INCOGNITO BROWSER!!!!
1. Navigate to https://ella.ochin.org/ip/login/index.php and follow the login prompts to enter username.
2. Select Forgot my Password link. (MAKE SURE THE USERNAME ABOVE ENTER PASSWORD IS (YOUR USERNAME)@COMMUNITY-HEALTH.ORG, IF IT IS NOT SELECT THE BACK ARROW AND SELECT USE ANOTHER ACCOUNT)
3. Answer the captcha and click Next.
4. Depending on the chosen method of MFA, the user will either need to input the phone number used to set up SMS MFA or enter the 6-digit code from your Authenticator app on the user’s phone.
5. For SMS, the user will receive a new 6-digit code via text message. Enter it and click Next.
6. Enter and confirm the new password. Click Finish to complete the process.
The requirements are as follows:
-minimum of 8 characters
-lower case,
-capital letters
-numbers
-special characters
